Bergen C25:33 Charge Air Cooler

The Charge Air Cooler (CAC) is a critical component in the cooling system of the Bergen Rolls Royce engine. Its primary function is to cool the compressed air from the turbocharger before it enters the engine’s combustion chamber. This helps increase the engine’s efficiency and performance while reducing emissions.

It works by passing hot compressed air through a series of tubes where it is cooled by the flow of cooler air passing over the outside of the tubes. The cooled compressed air is then delivered to the engine’s combustion chamber.
