The air cooled far below the dew point. Water cooled on the cold surface of the evaporator and dripped into the water container or directly into the drain pipe. The cold, dry air continues to pass through the hot condenser and heat it up and send it back to the room to absorb the new humidity. The process continues until the desired conditions are met.
