Fresh Air Dehumidifier

The refrigeration system used by the dehumidifier is similar to an air conditioner. Its function is to remove the heat and moisture from the incoming air and heat the discharged air. The hot high-pressure gas refrigerant reaches the condenser coil via compression. The refrigerant is cooled, compressed, and releases heat into the air that is about to be discharged from the equipment. Then, the liquid refrigerant passes through a filter dryer and a capillary tube that lowers the pressure and temperature of the refrigerant. Then, the refrigerant enters the evaporator coil, absorbs heat from the incoming air and evaporates. The evaporator needs to be operated under immersion conditions. This means that under normal working conditions, all evaporator tubes contain liquid refrigerant. An immersion evaporator should maintain close to constant pressure and temperature throughout the coil from inlet to outlet.
