The structure of a tubular heat exchanger is two concentric tubes with different diameters, also known as a radial heat pipe because its heat transfer direction is radial. When the outer side of the outer tube is the high-temperature side and the inner side of the inner tube is the low-temperature side, the working medium on the hot side in the vacuum sleeve gap is vaporized and expanded by heating, forms high-speed convection with the working medium on the cold side, and condenses on the cold side, that is, when the heat is transferred to the outer tube of the heat pipe, the working medium absorbs heat and evaporates, flows to the cold side, where the medium steam is cooled, releases the latent heat of vaporization, condenses into liquid, and then returns to the hot side.
Explain the principle and characteristics of tubular heat exchanger
In addition to the conventional gravity heat pipe heat exchanger, the tubular heat pipe heat exchanger also has the following characteristics.
(1) The direction of heat transfer can be two-way, from the outside to the inside or from the inside to the outside; The traditional gravity heat pipe can only transfer from the evaporation section to the condensation section, and cannot transfer in reverse.
(2) The relative gravity field direction can be placed at will, from vertical to parallel; The traditional gravity heat pipe cannot be perpendicular to the direction of the gravity field.
(3) Because the heat transfer distance between the cold and hot sides of the tubular heat pipe heat exchanger is greatly shortened, the heat transfer coefficient is increased, the thermal resistance on both sides is small, and the temperature difference is small.
(4) Because the cross-sectional area of heat transfer on the cold and hot sides of the tubular heat pipe heat exchanger is greatly increased, the heat load per unit area on both sides can be large; There is no sonic limit, carrying limit, capillary limit and boiling limit of traditional gravity heat pipe.
