Generator H2 Cooling System

The generator H2 cooling system removes heat from the generator hydrogen cooling gas to the plant cooling water to prevent an overheating situation.

The process is a closed loop where gaseous hydrogen is removed from the main oil circuit and passed through a series of heat exchangers using water as the coolant. The newly heated coolant passes through separate pipes back to the primary oil circuit by gravity feed or other means.
